Category Description

This award recognises a mentor professional or organisation who has contributed to assisting other aviation personnel in learning or growing in their aviation careers.

It is open to any individual or organisation at any career level and any age who has demonstrated a commitment to learning, including cabin crew, ground support services, air traffic control, trainers, air marshals, management, operations, or any other individuals within an aviation-centric business are encouraged to participate.

Professionals from all areas of the aviation industry who focus on safety, performance, and education are encouraged to participate.

Nominations close 31 July 2024

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, the nominee must be or have been involved in a New Zealand Aviation business, organisation, or institution (or a division of a global company that is registered to trade in New Zealand) that focuses on supporting the performance, safety, and growth of the New Zealand aviation industry.

All information will be confidential and only shared with the judges assessing this category.

You are encouraged to provide and refer to any supporting material for the judges’ consideration. This material can include financial or business metrics, images, statistics, transcripts, media coverage, accolades, testimonials or recommendations, references and other relevant information.

Documents and evidence supplied, will be disregarded if they are not correctly referenced and pertinent to your submission. You may submit a maximum of FOUR supporting documents to strengthen your entry unless directed otherwise. All information will be confidential and only shared with the judges assessing this category.
