Category Description

This award recognises a leader in aviation who has most effectively through their leadership style, developed, strengthened, enhanced or grown an Aviation Industry business.

It is open to all aviation professionals in a management/leadership position, across the aviation industry. Aviation leaders work across all aviation industry areas, including airlines, consultancies, airports, industry associations, technology and software, defence business, manufacturers, SMEs, tourism, training, university, or research institutions. All aviation-related leaders are encouraged to enter, irrespective of age or location.

Nominations close 31 July 2024

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, the nominee must own or be employed in a New Zealand business, organisation, or institution or subsidiary of a global company registered to trade in New Zealand. All information will be confidential and only shared with the judges assessing this category.

You are encouraged to provide and refer to any supporting material for the judges’ consideration. This material can include financial or business metrics, images, statistics, transcripts, media coverage, accolades, testimonials or recommendations, references and other relevant information.

Documents and evidence supplied, will be disregarded if they are not correctly referenced and pertinent to your submission. You may submit a maximum of FOUR supporting documents to strengthen your entry unless directed otherwise. All information will be confidential and only shared with the judges assessing this category.
