Airfares: Airways NZ proposes 7.7% price increase for airlines, up to $2.80 per seat – NZ Herald
Aviation Industry Association Chief Executive Simon Wallace said the changes were good for some in the industry and not for others, but overall, the sector was pleased with the result. However the Association would push back on the Government’s intention for CAA to be funded through industry levies.
“This comes on top of the CAA putting their levies up by a minimum of 10% across the whole sector,” AIANZ CE Simon Wallace said. “We’re not seeing any evidence to justify these increases.”
